Here at Pass Me Faster we’re not just all about the learner driver Test.  Do you feel ready to test your resolve with one of our advanced driver course? 

A point often overlooked is that you’ve passed your driving test but your not quite Lewis Hamilton just yet!  

Advanced Driver Courses – What to Expect

Our advanced driver courses offer clients training with driving instructors with over 20 years driving experience. 

All our advanced course trainers have also had driving assessments to Cardington standards coupled with at least ten years of training drivers under their belt.

Cardington standard is a standard of driving expected from a driving examiner.

Course Topics

As shown below lets have a look at some of the topics that may not have been covered in driving lessons or on the driving test itself. 

Or similarly 

May have covered but not in a whole lot of detail – 

• Positive acceleration pressure around bends and vanishing points
• Gears (correct selection of gears up and down to high standards)
• Signalling when necessary (including junctions)
• Dealing with incorrect sat nav instructions
• Awareness and planning to a high level (commentary driving)
• Dealing with distractions
• Fatigue

Ruby, Emerald or Diamond Standards

Can you elevate your skills to a higher level to achieve a ruby, emerald or  even diamond award with intention to become a safer driver.

All clients will be awarded with a certificate on completion of the course.  This is based on an in car assessment coupled with a one hour driving assessment at the end of the course.

Points are awarded for each section of the advanced driver topics and a final grade is determined. 

The Awards

Satisfactory understanding of the core skills   – Ruby Award

Intermediate understanding of the core skills – Emerald Award

Advance understanding of the core skills         – Diamond Award
