Frequently Asked Questions

These are our most frequently asked questions – if you still need more information then please use our contact form to get in touch with a Pass Me Faster intensive driving course manager.

What is Pass Me Faster?

Pass Me Faster is the leading expert in intensive driver training for learner drivers of all levels. Regardless of your driving ability, we are proud to smash the standard waiting times to pieces. With Pass Me Faster you’ll be swapping months of pain for days of joy!

What about driving tests?

If you’ve already got a test booked elsewhere, for simplicity we advise you to cancel it, then we can start afresh and book you either your practical or theory or both tests if necessary.

How long does it take to book my test?

If we cant book your test within 10 working days, you are eligible for a full refund. Pass Me Faster has secured lots of tests for happy customers, all done super quick and stress free.

What about driving test costs?

1. Standard fast-track practical driving test costs £82.
2. DVSA theory test fee £35.
3. Weekend fee – if possible £13 extra.

* The only test that we don’t offer is an extended driving test for banned drivers unfortunately.

How does Pass Me Faster secure tests so quickly?

On average a driving test can take between 2 and 4 months with a regular driving school. Pass Me Faster has a few nifty tricks up our sleeves. We know how to use other people’s cancellations to your advantage. In fact, we know the DVSA booking system like the back of our hand.

Does the test fee include an instructor?

No. You will have to pay for an instructor with one of our intensive driving courses.

What about course fees?

1. Standard course deposit – £150.
2. Remaining course fees to be paid at least 7 days before your course starts.

Am I guaranteed to pass?

No. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee that you will pass any driving test. All we can do is give you expert tuition and give you confidence from our high pass rates and previous successes.

What if I fail a test?

If you fail your theory or practical test, you will have to pay the same fee again and we will usually get you another appointment within 7 to 10 working days.

Are your driving instructors insured?

Pass Me Faster only does business with fully insured professional driving instructors. It wouldn’t be worth our while to cut corners when people’s lives are at stake. Any instructor that fails to comply with our high standards and strict code of conduct is taken off our procurement list.

What areas do you cover?

Pass Me Faster covers all of the North East of England, as standard. If you feel that you are a bit far away, please get in touch and we will see if we can sort a driver in your area.

We are proud of the fact that at Pass Me Faster we don’t mind going out of our way for our clients. It’s your happiness that drives us to be the best driving school around. Cheesy, but true. 🙂

Can I have a home pickup?

Yes. Home pickups are standard with Pass Me Faster. All our driving instructors pick you up at your front door or place of work, at your discretion.

Will I have the same car for my test?

Yes, of course, you will have the same car for your test as you do for your lessons. We want you to feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible with no distractions.

Will the car have an automatic or manual gearbox?

When you first book your driving course, you can tell us which gearbox you prefer. You will be in the same car for the remainder of your lessons.

Why does an intensive driving course cost more?

We know our drivers are smart people. Why would anyone pay more for the same thing? Well in truth, with an intensive driving course you are paying a premium for the reduced waiting time.

For example, an instructor might have had to cancel lessons to fit you in. This added cost is included in the premium you pay to pass super quick.

That being said, once our clients have passed their test and hit the road, they never ever say it wasn’t worth it, such is the joy of getting behind the wheel as a newly legal driver for the first time. It’s a moment you’ll remember for the rest of your life!
