Pass Plus Explained
What is it? – Pass Plus Explained
You passed your driving test but are you done? You’re now a licence holder but are you ready for your driving black belt.
Here at Pass me Faster students are now using the services of Pass Plus Masters and pushing themselves above and beyond the driving test standards.
Pass Plus Explained – The General Vibe
You can complete the Pass Plus training course after passing your driving test. It’s aimed at newly qualified drivers wanting to improve their driving ability and thus become safer drivers.
Here’s a list of the modules covered
- In town driving
- All weather driving
- Rural Road Driving
- At night Driving
- Duel Carriageway Driving
- Motorway Driving
Ideally practical lessons are where the money is made however certain restrictions may require some modules being theory based only.
As everyone has a different skill set should we stick to the Pass Plus course regimental romp through the 6 pre set subjects or can we really paint the fence? Let’s see if we can tailor things to suit an individuals style.
Pass Plus Refined
A lot of articles explain Pass Plus as a course covering the above topics that are not covered in your driving lessons. Although this may be true we feel each Pass Plus course, with a bit of careful planning can be tailored to suit each individuals needs.
Let’s Have a Look Why
Firstly – student location
Where did your student complete most of their regular driving lessons? If they reside deep in the urban jungle, meandering through busy areas and tackling suicidal pedestrians will probably come lock stock and barrel.
Is it really worth focusing on town driving or would an extra long session out in the country be more beneficial.
Similarly for students living in a rural areas breezing columns over narrow bridges and tight bends with ease may suite more training in urban environments.
Secondly – let’s chat about the weather
The conditions on their original lessons may dictate how and what theory to pick into when looking at how to tackle the great British weather.
It goes without saying that all subjects will be covered in our sessions but if we can plan around a students needs, then maybe we can come up with something great!
Thirdly – The students strengths and weaknesses
Their style! Are you a wing chun nut or a choi lei fut. Routes can be tailored to develop any weaknesses you have in your current driving style.
Work on your weakness because it’s probably your strength.
Duration of Sessions in Pass Plus Explained
With the Pass Plus courses why not take full opportunity to really test your resolve.
Unlike a one hour lesson a two hour romper stomp around Newcastle will no doubt get the blood flowing, but why stop there?
On most Pass Plus courses to really test what your made of we like to do a three hour minimum.
Some of the real adrenaline junkies even push themselves with a full 6 hour megathon.
All joking aside studies have suggested that 1 in 6 crashes resulting in death or injury in the UK are fatigue related. So let’s get the practise in.
